Sponsorship Opportunities:

We are a team of both undergraduate and graduate students from a wide array of disciplines all working towards a common goal: to build and develop a prototypical Mars rover for the third annual University Rover Challenge hosted by the Mars Society.  The competition will be held June 3-5, 2010 at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah, USA. 

The York University Rover Team (YURT) is currently gearing up to design and build another Mars Rover prototype. Our team was the sole entrant from Canada last year and our award winning design in the international competition was highlighted on Global News, Scientific American Online, The Toronto Star, The Space Review, Information Week and locally in Y-File and Excalibur.  During the previous year's competition the team took third place from a group of 11 teams.

  • Logo visibility: your logo and company name can be visible on our t-shirts, posters, pamphlets, and rover during the competition for maximum visibility!
